ABOUT

A lab to explore
logistics &
supply chain

Every product has a logistics process behind it;

its very own logistics formula.

Each logistics formula is different, specific, and significantly

essential to achieve a perfect delivery to its destination every time.

These formulas also impact the business's bottom line and could differentiate between a growing and healthy business and an unprofitable one.

My Logistics Lab is dedicated to exploring ways to maximize supply chain, transportation, and logistics processes to develop and sustain operational efficiency and profitability.

We are happy to welcome you to our Lab and hope our #LogisticsAreEverywhere content adds value to you!

Meet Gloria Isamar Rivera, MBA, LSSGB, CSCP, PMP.

She is a hands-on Operations VP, skilled Logistics Manager, Continuous Improvement Performer, Project Manager, and Supply Chain Professional with over 20 years of combined business experience. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Master's in International Business Administration in Global Logistics. She is also a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP by APICS / ACSM). Recently, she obtained the Project Management Professional Certificate (PMP) from PMI.

As the Traffic & Logistics Manager for a leading fresh produce distributor in Puerto Rico, she conducts a team of highly productive people who work with inbound logistics, intermodal transportation, receiving warehouse operation processes, quality control, and repack operations. Their daily efforts positively impact time-to-market, maximize routes and storage, and reduce Supply-Chain-related expenses.

As part of her current functions, she serves as a Project Manager, successfully handling multiple projects in change management, operation optimization, continuous improvement, and regulated-site construction.

Her unique perspective and comprehensive background make her a supply chain and operations mastermind unicorn who

secured 7-figure cost savings through structured approaches and effective strategies.

Previously, as a Logistics Manager and trusted Supply Chain partner for multiple companies, she designed and implemented custom logistics models for various commodities, including perishables, hazardous materials, consumer goods, raw materials, and furniture.

Before that, she worked in the hospitality industry, gaining exceptional customer-centric views and learning about inventory management, forecasting, and budgeting.

Throughout her career, she has focused on solving complex problems and empowering others to do the same, all while increasing savings and prioritizing customer needs without compromising quality. She is a firm believer in leveraging technology and data to drive innovative processes and make sustainable business decisions.

As a change champion, she sees opportunities for improvement in every aspect of her work. The drive to discover better and more effective ways of doing things fuels her daily. She embraces leadership, diversity, teamwork, strategic planning, and creative thinking to forge new paths to excellence.
